Las Vegas (KSNV) — Rick Harrison, known for the popular History Channel show Pawn Stars, is giving back to the community.
He held his annual ‘Pawn Stars Poker Run’ over the weekend outside his pawnshop near downtown Las Vegas.
During the event, Harrison led bikers through Las Vegas and held a poker game for charity.
This year, he helped raise about $75,000 for the Hundley Foundation, which helps families affected by epilepsy and other disabilities.
This comes just as the World Series of Poker returns to the Las Vegas Strip.
This year the event will be held at Bally’s and Paris, where they have plenty of chairs for plenty of players.
The tournament kicks off Tuesday at its new home.
This year’s event will run through July 20 and features 97 bracelet events.
The main event is back to its traditional time frame beginning on Sunday, July 3, and will continue to play through the final table on Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16.
